Here are Marcus’ answers to a few of our interview questions:

What qualities are required to do this job?

I'm with the philosopher Dr Seuss on this one. He said “"Think left and think right and think low and think high. Oh, the thinks you can think up if only you try!”

What are your greatest strengths?

I am a hands-on account manager / strategic planner, creative yet technical with the odd maverick twist...

What are your greatest weaknesses?

The greatest weakness of all is the great fear of appearing weak.

What are your favourite books?

Any books I love I tend to read to tatters – I think the one I have replaced most is “The Master and Margarita” by Mikhail Bulgakov. I have a great deal of affection for the 87th Precinct series by Ed McBain, and I like to dip my nose into a good Stephen King every now and again.

What outside interests do you have that you can tell me a bit about?

Photography is a hobby of mine – I'm lucky enough to live in a little fishing village with great light and lovely scenery, so even a quick point and press can be effective. Sports-wise, I've pounded the pavement in a number of 10K charity events, but most of my spare time is spent with my children, Brandon and Megan.
